SAE 2017 Thermal Management Systems Symposium

October 10-12, 2017, United States

EVENT OVERVIEW

With the start of new vehicle powertrains such as hybrid, electric and fuel cell vehicles; all thermal management systems, including mobile air conditioning systems, require new concepts to provide passenger compartment heating and cooling, as well as heating and cooling of batteries and cooling vehicle fuel systems.

Beginning in 2017 the new EPA Tier 3 emissions regulations are mandatory, and combined with the European Commission standards (EURO V & VI) and CAFE standards, it will require a significant reduction in combustion engines. Thermal Management activities now form a vital part of adhering to these regulations, and this event addresses both regulations, as well as industry reaction and resulting technologies

The SAE 2017 Thermal Management Systems Symposium continues to expand and enhance its programming content to focus on environmental regulatory requirements and the technologies to meet them. Leading experts from the United States, Europe, and Asia will speak about cutting-edge thermal management technology and regulation compliance strategies.
